total weight dehlya 25 diesel and trailer

hello,

we are looking at buying a dehlya 25 diesel engine complete with trailer and slipwagon. is there somebody who could tell us how much this total combination weighs? we get so many different answers to this question.
our car is a vw transporter 88pk and is allowed to tow max 2000kg.

I have the same combination.My Car is a VW t4 with 2000kg for the trailer.And this combination is okay.I think the weight together is 1900 kg.It`s a diffrenet from combination to combination.
What is a VW 88pk.Is this a VW T4 TDI?

yes it's a TDi but with a blue i. We will try some simple modifications to the airfilter etc to have our power more easily available. As we have a house in Sweden with lots of water in front of us, we want to tow the boat from Belgium to Sweden for the summer season. As cranes are not easily available there, we need an easy slipcombination. My girlfriend is more set on buying a Jeanneau Tonic 23 which has more comfort, but is heavier. I would love to find a diesel Dehlya for all those moments that we don't have enough wind on the lakes. Advice on what to pay special attention to before we buy one is always welcome. We were told that it is no longer possible to obtain wheels for the slipwagon, is this correct?

The blue I is for economic.This engine have enough Power for the trailer.You must not modify.The engine have enough tourque.I ám engineer for Cars.
It`s a nice place for sailing in sweden.Isn`t it?
I have also buy this vessel in 2008 with diesel engine and I think it`s a good boat for sailing and an easy slipcombination.

I can't imagine, that the "inboard machine one" weights only 1900kg!

Here some weights original announced by Dehler:

Empty d25 incl mast and boom 1375kg
trailer (whithout slipwagon) 500kg
total 1875 kg
...and this is the declaration of Dehler. In reality, most boats have some more...

Then please add some kg for sails, luggage and so one
...and not to forget the additional weight of the engine and the slipwagon...

I towed the dy25 with outboard and whithout slipwagon also by a VW T4 (the 5 cylinder petrol engine) all ower Germany and it was ok.
I scaled the boat on the original trailer whith some equipment for holidays. It was 2120kg :O

So please take care of all equipment.

P.S: With the T4 you have a limit of 2000kg for the trailer and mostly 75kg weight on the hitch...

Concerning the engine: Even if wanted to have the boat at a "house in Sweden", I would take in every case the outboard engine. If I have to repair something, I can call the professional to take it away and make the repair (or take it with me to my favoured prof...

Good morning all together,

I put my Dehlya 25 together with the trailer (without slipwagon) on a scale last year - and I was astonished to see, that it showed 2.145 kg!! I tell you, it was a liitle shock for me because my trailer is allowed to carry 1.600 kg only. I towed it with a Passat 4motion which is allowed 2.200 kg.

Thus, before driving through whole Europe be sure you don´t exceed the maximum weights allowed.

is the total weight incl inboard or do you have an outboard engine?

Our 2120kg were without engine (the outboard was in the back of the car)...

So we can perhaps get a little validation of the weight differences

hello,
if I look at all the different answers........ most dehlya's we see are advertised as 1100 kg plus waterbalast. if we ad 500kg extra for the trailer then we end up with 1600kg. that gives us approx 300kg for the engine( 80kg according to the manufacturer)and al the bits and pieces required for sailing. it seems to be very difficult to obtain exact figures, i would think that most people know how much weight they are towing.

the official weiht of the dy25 is 1375 excl waterbalast.

the dy22 could be officially announced at 1100kg, bit I don't know...

Hi all,

the weight of my "Princess" is including 1 cylinder inboard engine, mast, boom etc. but with empty water ballast tank. I took it on the scale on my way to the winter storage.

As far as I know, the "official" wight given by the producer is 1.375 kg without engine.
