Re: Sail touches backstay
Dear Michael
This problem was already discussed here. There are some solutions but I think the best way is to change the fixing points of the back stay like
it is realized at the Dehler 22. With this change you will generate more space between back stay and your main sail. I took a photo from the
member Uli to show how it works, on the top you see the original fixing points and down you see the new points. I hope I understood your question
in the right way.
If you search under: 'Groß bleibt am Achterstag hängen' you will find other solutions but from my point of view this one is the best.
Best regards
Ulrich

Super thank you for the feedaback.
I did search the German pages, but it's hard as my German is quite poor.

Michael

Re: Sail touches backstay
Hi Michael,
I hope you are doing well. Please find another little trick to win some centimeters (2-3 cm) with minor changes at the mast top:
http://www.dehlya.de/forum/viewtopic.ph ... ttop#p9537
In combination it works perfect...
All the best!
