Spinaker top tip!

If you are looking for a new spinaker, first try a secondhand J-boats 22 spinaker!
The second-hand spinaker I bought was from a J22.
there are a lot of positive points to do this;
- it is bigger than a normal (dehler 22) spi (37m2)
- verry cheap!!!! mine was 90 euro's!!
- fits perfect on a 22 and 25
- it is not nassasary to keep it in one piece, when its broken you buy another one!! (again +/- 90 euro's)
I bought the spi for some small regatta's, and having fun on a windy day!
Last summerholiday I saw 10 knots on my GPS!! (the log confirmed it with 10.2 knt)
The wind was a little to strong for set up a spi, but the price of the spi was so low I don't care if it blow up.
However, it is still in one piece after af few litle repairs!
