I have no idea what this eye is for (in the cockpit), is there any one who can put me in the right direction?

Hi Michael,

For boats without traveler you can use the eye to fix the mainsheet. For safety reason's you can fix your lifeline. That's it.
Dehler offered the boats as kind of "packaged solution". The configuration of the boat is depending on which packages the owner bought.
The eye is boat standard...
